HARIYAMA BALLET

Ballet studio opened in 2010 in midtown of New york city. 

Our ballet academy is open for children to adults. Offering different levels of classes from beginners to pre professional level also we have Stretch and Pilates for daily workout, Tap, pointe, KPOP-dance and kids classes.

Our goal is to make ballet enjoyable for all levels.  

All classes are taught by highly experienced teachers who all have a special love for dance.

Professional Training

You would be taking classes from world-renowned teachers who developed Broadway actors and dancers from major companies. You will also take Master Classes and meet successful dancers, singers and actors who are working in the New York scene,

 

Our training program will guide you to a professional career, and help you to prepare for auditions.

Junior

- Pre Junior Age 9 and up -

Pre Junior, Junior 

Class will include more challenging barre exercises and center combinations while emphasizing basic terminology. Audition might be required. 

Advance Junior Ballet 

Pre Professional Junior 

Strong understanding of the fundamental rules and theories of ballet. Expected to learn new combinations quickly.

KidsYouth

- Age 3 and up -

Kids Ballet 

Dancers will enjoy learning basic ballet technique and terminology. The focus is on flexibility and musicality. No audition is required. 

Youth Ballet

Students will learn more challenging ballet skills and movement. Strict proper technique is stressed.

Sing Dance and Play

Children and their parents/caregivers share the joys of dance and music through song and movement.

 

Kids Ballet - Tot

Dancers will have fun learning pre-ballet movement and stretching, basic ballet technique.

Tap, Jazz & Contemporary

- For All -

Unlike classical danceis an expressive form of the body based on free movement and improvisation. 

 

The steps of contemporary dance leave full creative and stylistic freedom, the dancer becomes a choreographer of himself and the whole thing revolves around his ability to improvise.

 

Also in this discipline, as for classical ballet, it is important to develop a capacity for control over the legs, the use of openings and all other fundamental characteristics for a dancer.
