FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What age can my child start?

Children can begin ballet classes at around age 3.

Contemporary Dance and Tap Dance classes are generally available for children ages 7 and up.

2. Does my child need previous dance experience?

Not at all! Beginners are welcome.

We are happy to introduce children to the joy of dance, whether they are taking their very first class or already have some dance experience.

 

3. Are classes taught in English?

Yes! Our classes are taught in English, and we welcome students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

4. Is Japanese-language support available?

Yes! Japanese-language support is available for students and parents who feel more comfortable communicating in Japanese.

5. What should my child wear to class?

For regular ballet classes, students are expected to wear:

• A ballet leotard for a Girl, T-shirt for a Boy

• Skin-tone ballet tights for a Girl, Black Tights for a Boy

• Ballet slippers

For the trial class, however, your child may wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move freely.

If your child decides to enroll, we will ask you to prepare the appropriate ballet attire.
